If you're looking for a place in Seattle that tastes like the islands, Ludi's is it. This cozy diner serves up some of the best Filipino-American comfort food I've had, and it's all paired with genuinely friendly service that makes you feel like part of the family. Their longsilog (longanisa sausage with garlic rice and egg) is a breakfast dream... perfectly cooked, flavorful, and filling. The lumpia is crispy perfection, and the adobo is rich and tender, with just the right balance of tangy and savory. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, especially for the quality and location. It's clear that everything is made with love, and you can tell that Ludi's is a labor of passion. The diner vibe adds to the charm. It's unpretentious, nostalgic, and inviting. Whether you're grabbing breakfast or lunch, it's a spot that feels like a hidden gem in the middle of the bustling city. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in Seattle and craving something hearty, flavorful, and comforting. Ludi's is the real deal!

Ahh! Ludi's is such a cute family-owned business, I just want to keep supporting them. When you visit, you may encounter a long line, but it's worth it. While we were in line, the owner handed out pork belly and it was so crispy yet juicy, it was delicious! FAVORITE ITEMS: - COMBO SILOG: I ordered this because it had a little bit of everything. It almost reminded me of a broken rice dish, but Philipino style. This came with 1 porkchop, 1 longanisa, 1 ilocos longanisa and 1 lumpia. Definitely worth it to try everything! - UBE PANCAKES: the batter is ube flavored and so is the sauce. Not too sweet though so it was perfect! Loved to have it to share. PARKING: there was street parking nearby so not too bad! PRICE: about $20 per plate so a bit heftier but the portion size was big as well. Overall, I'd recommend this spot simply to support the business but also because the food is bomb too. Come check it out!

We came here after looking for some breakfast before our flight out. We saw the line and figured why not anywhere else we go without a reservation will be the same wait, and I'm glad we did because it was one of the best meals on our entire trip. So it is only street parking so I hopped out and waited in line. It was a pretty long line but all things considered it wasn't too bad I'd say about 45 minutes. Once you are inside and up next you place your order with the cashier and then they find you a seat. It wasn't a huge place so that's why there is a bit of a line but I feel like it's the perfect size to get your food in an orderly time. Once we sat down our food was out in about 15 minutes. I ended up getting the Spam-silog and it was so delicious. Cooked perfectly and so so yummy. We also got the Ube pancakes and they were so fluffy and the Ube wasn't super over powering adding just the right amount of sweetness to the pancakes. This was such a delicious meal and I only wish we had another day so we could eat here again!

Ludi's was so fabulous. I had never had Filipino food before, so I was so excited. The line was daunting on that windy Seattle morning, but the smell of garlic wafting kept us sane. And honestly, the line moved pretty fast. Their system of ordering at the counter but still picking a table for us worked out great--I get nervous having to fight people for a table. The food comes out quickly and hot, ready for you to dive in. Everything we took a bite of was amazing, but we particularly loved the lumpia (so so good) and the pork chop. The garlic rice was also such a stunning backdrop for breakfast; I want to eat it all the time. On top of the food, all of the waitstaff was so personable and kind. I loved Ludi's and I can't wait to go back!

Overall: Generously sized portions, quality cooking, filipino-approved! Went here on a sunday morning around 11am, the line goes out the door, maybe a 20-25min wait. Street parking is a little hard to find, so do plan ahead. Ube pancakes were very buttery, light, and not too sweet. I took some left overs home to my non-filipino partner and quote "What is this purple stuff? it's so good! You should've taken more sauce home!" Lumpia plate and beef steak (not pictured) were delicious. Great portions, well seasoned, and cooked just right. Would definitely come back!

Came by for some brunch on a Saturday afternoon around 11 AM for a party of two. We did a small parking lot which was $12 for 2hrs since we weren't able to find street parking. When we arrived there was a long line outside the restaurant which took about 40-50 minutes to get seated. Just as a note to wait it's outside with no cover and unfortunately it was drizzling a little bit we were alright haha. Once we got in we already knew what we wanted and ordered at the cashier. You first pay then you're seated when the table is available for you. It's quite snug so I would come here with small parties, like 4-6 MAX. Ube Pancakes Stack 9/10 -- super delicious! It was $16 for the stack and $11 for the single so of course we got the bigger one which comes with 4 pancakes. It's drenched in the Ube sauce and is more than filling for more than one person. Lechon Kawaii 9/10 -- also delicious! It comes with 2 eggs your way but we got over easy. It comes with lechon sauce and I just wish I got more because it was yummy. The garlic rice was also super yummy when mixed with the egg yolk. Staff was great and kind. And loved the laker shirt our server had. She was nice and provided water and napkins very quickly. We hope to come back and try other things on the menu!!

This is such a cozy eatery perfect for brunch! It's a very laidback place so if you want a more chill than bougie brunch experience, this is a great pick. I had a work meeting here and it was a really nice setting for it since it wasn't too loud and there's a good range of food options between savory and sweet. I ordered the Loco Moco which had seasoned ground beef patty with brown mushroom gravy over rice and topped with egg prepped to your choice (I went for fried egg). The beef patty was juicy and the mushroom gravy was delicious. It was a very wholesome meal and the portion was enough to share for two people. I was pretty hungry so I ate most of it and had a little bit left over. The ordering process was pretty easy, you order first and get seated after. Food also came pretty quickly since it was a weekday. I'm excited to go back to try some of the more classic sweet brunch options next.

Super cozy mom and pop brunch diner! The best part about this place is definitely the people working there. Everyone is super friendly and tito Greg, the owner, is such a personality. He goes around talking to everyone, and both times I went, he gave me free banana bread and turon. The best dish here is probably the ube pancakes. The pancakes themselves aren't too sweet and are really pillowy and soft, but what really elevates them is the ube coconut sauce. The sauce is sweet and creamy with a strong coconut flavor and a light ube earthiness in the background. It's pretty heavy though so it's a nice thing for the table to share. The silogs here are also super tasty. The oxtail silog special came with extremely tender pieces of oxtail in a rich meaty gravy that paired well with the garlic rice. The combo silog is also nice because you get to try a little bit of everything. The lumpia was nice and crispy, the sausages were well seasoned and fatty, and the pork chop was lean and meaty. There's always a long line outside since they don't take reservations, but it's definitely worth the wait!

The food is great. We got the oxtail silog and milkfish bangsilog. Both were great. The fish was especially very well fried. The oxtail was very tender and soft and the garlic fried rice and eggs went along with it very well. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The vibe is very chill.
